Using "The Connected Child" by Dr. Karen Purvis and Dr. David Cross, based on the research attained at the Child Development Institute at Texas Christian University, I incorporate Trust Based Relational training into all counseling, training, and parenting groups. This introduces the importance of building relationships before we can work on issues.
DVD's and other materials developed at the Institue are also integrated in individual, parenting and group sessons. They provide enriched insights into the connections of relationships that affect communication and behaviors. All TCU TBRI materials are attachment-based, and are the result of more than a decade of research and practice.
